We appreciate that life takes us away from our dogs at times and we have used dog sitters and walkers ourselves for years. We also appreciate that we do not always have the time or means to socialise our dogs as much as we would want to and for many socialisation can be quite scary.
Often dogs we come across are unknown and some experiences are not always good ones, leaving us and our dogs a little rattled. At Green Meadow dogs are introduced to each other safely and we ensure they are only playing with their friends.
It is really important to a dog’s well-being that they receive a variety of appropriate stimulation and exercise, as this aids in allowing them to be able to relax and be fulfilled. At Green Meadow we can provide opportunities and facilities that most of us do not have at home in order to achieve this.
We have time to practice life skills with your dog. These are considered to be the important commands which are vital in teaching our dogs the expectations of them and the rules within our homes. Without these, relationships with our dogs can be affected, dogs can become frustrated, confused, possessions can be destroyed and other unwanted behaviours displayed.
We have the facilities to provide nervous dogs with the opportunity to socialise on their terms. Due to our training we are able to assess each dog throughout the day and can ensure they are happy and comfortable in their surroundings.
We can also provide young dogs, older dogs and injured dogs with activities that are appropriate to their needs, ensuring they have the best day possible. At the end of each day we can provide information on what you dog has been up to whilst with us.
We have an in-depth assessment and introduction process which enables us to ensure we have the right mix of personalities to be able to provide them with the best day. We have a variety of secure play areas that are designed to provide each dog with the best forms of enrichment, this includes 2 indoor play areas set on a big yard, so that in any weather and temperatures all dogs in our care can stay clean, warm, dry and cool whilst playing.
Our gorgeous log cabin is heated and filled with sofas, beds and crates so that rest time is as luxurious and as comfortable as possible. The log cabin offers a garden area so that dogs can choose where they want to relax.
In accordance with regulations we complete a health check on the dogs in our care so you can be reassured that any health changes will be spotted quickly and reported to you.
