The services that Green Meadow Dog Day Care provides to you

We offer a collection and return home service. We collect from Cam, Dursley, Coaley, Frampton, Stonehouse Nailsworth, Horsley, Uley and surrounding areas. We offer flexibility in travel and appreciate that each dog is different and prefers to travel in particular ways. Our 14 seat minibus offers crate travel as well as seat travel secured with a seat belt.

We aim to be at Green Meadow between the hours of 10am-2.00pm, with collection starting around 9am and return home starting around 2pm aiming to finish returning dogs home by 3pm. Times may differ slightly depending on travel times.

SENSORY GARDEN

Our Sensory Garden is an enclosed paddock where each sense is stimulated to provide a calming and relaxing effect. Activities include a tyre garden with herbs that are great for smelling, textured areas to provide different smells and sensations and tyre hoops and bamboo plants for exploring.

AGILITY PADDOCK

Our Agility Paddock is full of agility equipment aimed at providing a fun introduction to agility. For some dogs these activities help build trust, confidence and communication as well as the fun of learning something new and receiving lots of praise!

WOODLAND PADDOCK

Our Woodland Paddock is a play area that provides the freedom to play and explore our climbing areas, tunnel for the small dogs, tyre climb and sand pit. We also have a shelter here so if the weather changes on us we can shelter to allow it to pass.

LARGE MEADOW

Our large meadow provides free play, space to run and equally space to sniff away from others.

YARD AND STABLES

Our 2 indoor play areas are converted stables, they offer a range of play equipment aimed at keeping dogs entertained in all types of weathers. The yard provides a clean play area.

LOG CABIN AND GARDEN

The luxurious log cabin is heated and available to all dogs throughout the day. Inside are sofas, beds and crates creating the most comfortable areas for resting. The garden gives an extra area for relaxation and space.
Whilst in the log cabin dogs have their health checks and a brush, as well as plenty of cuddles (although this is a given throughout the day anyway!).
The log cabin provides a great space whatever the weather.

Apart from our woodland paddock each play area is interlocked so supervision can be provided easily. Having inter locking play areas means younger dogs, older dogs and dogs with injuries can be kept safe but are still considered part of the group as a mesh fence enables them to see what’s going on as well as to have contact with the other dogs.

Our log cabin is available to all dogs throughout the day who chose to rest. However, we encourage all of the dogs in our care to take regular rest and relaxation.
We have safe and secure fencing around our site which meets all current regulations. We are also fully licensed and insured.
